
This wine originates from one of the most suitable areas of Abruzzo for growing wine, from an over thirty-year-old vine of a vineyard trained with the Tendon-system, at an ideal altitude to ensure a formidable thermal excursion and with a magnificent exposure.

Fruity, fresh, and pleasantly aromatic, with a pungent note on the finish. A straw yellow color with flavors of sage, broom, peach and apricot. On the palate it reveals to be vigorous, in perfect harmony with the fragrances.
It is excellent with aperitifs, hors d’oeuvres, seafood, vegetarian dishes, white meats, and fresh or medium-aged cheeses.
Serve at 7°C.

Strictly manual harvest with selection of the best grapes.
The bunches are harvested from 5 to 15 October in the ancient Controguerra vineyard with optimal exposure and low yield. The terroir guarantees these grapes daily temperature variations which emphasize the typical aromas, flavors and gustatory intensity of the Passerina grapes.
Vinification is carried out in thermo-conditioned steel tanks, followed by 4-months refinement in cement tanks, and then bottling in the total absence of oxygen.
