Ca’Natura Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo
Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2022 Organic Rosé Wine
€12.50
This wine originates from one of the most suitable areas of Abruzzo for growing wine, from an old vineyard trained with the Tendon-system, at an ideal altitude to ensure a formidable thermal excursion and with a magnificent exposure.
75 cl, 13% Vol.
Elegant, pleasant, and fruity at the same time. Fine and intense, with soft tannins and an enveloping and persistent bouquet. An intense and bright cherry pink color, tending to coral. The fruity and floral scents recall raspberry, ripe cherry, geranium and pomegranate. A delicate vinosity in the taste that anticipates a long and persistent finish with a hint of almonds.
Able to be paired with almost any food, and can certainly be sipped under any circumstances. Best with aperitifs, hors d’oeuvres, seafood, vegetarian dishes, white and red meats, fresh or medium-aged cheeses.
Serve at 9°C.
Controguerra – Teramo, Italy.
Clay soil with sandy veins at approx. 290m. AMSL.
100% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes from 25 (average) year old vines.
Strictly manual harvest with selection of the best grapes.
The bunches are harvested from 10 to 20 October in the ancient Martinsicuro vineyard with optimal exposure and medium-low yield. The terroir guarantees these grapes daily temperature variations which emphasize the typical flavors and aromas of Montepulciano grapes.
A white vinification carried out exclusively in thermo-conditioned steel vats, and after the necessary rest on the skins, follows a maturation of 3 months, in cement vats, before bottling in the total absence of oxygen.
