Nestled in the renowned Parma Food Valley, within a 28-hectare estate of vineyards, an olive grove, woods, and a private lake, Cantina Il Poggio expresses its vocation for "beyond-contemporary" wines, in respect of a pure environment.

Today, the vineyards span 15 hectares, and the historic plot of the estate is reserved exclusively for the production of Poggio, the winery’s flagship wine.

From the highest hill of Salsomaggiore, the terroir expresses its personality with the traditional varieties inherited from Parma and Piacenza's Viticultural tradition. Its exceptional soil, however, also proves to be perfect for creating structured red wines with long aging-potential.
