Vinified from Chardonnay grapes that are enhanced by the microclimate of the highest hillocks, the Poggio Alto Brut is a rank sparkling wine, combining flavour, freshness and fragrance.
It is a Blanc de Blancs produced with a long Charmat method: the 6 months on the yeast gives an immediate but not trivial approach. A creamy and light-bodied bubble for a beautiful sip from the beginning to the end of the meal.
75 cl, 12% Vol.
A straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Hints of spring flowers and Golden apple aromas, intense and fragrant. A great balance and smoothness on the palate, with fruity aromas of good persistence.
Excellent with fish dishes but also with flakes of aged parmesan cheese.
Serve at 7°C.

70% Chardonnay 30% C. Musqué grapes from 20 (average) year old vines.
Strictly manual harvest with selection of the best grapes.
After removal of the grape stems, the pressing is gravity-fed to avoid stressing the grapes.
After fermentation at 18°C, the grapes stay three months Sur Lies with batonnage in stainless steel tanks. Produced with the ancestral Charmat Method.
