Produced with pure Grillo organic grapes, Irmàna Grillo is a refreshing white wine bursting with vibrant aromas that are perfectly balanced by notes of fruit and freshness that only comes from the Mediterranean Sea. The Sicilian white par excellence, it is the ideal choice to accompany traditional cuisine, like vegetable dishes, grilled or baked fishes and white meats.
75 cl, 12,5-13% Vol.
A Bright yellow with greenish reflections, accompanied with a bouquet of tropical fruit, grapefruit, Sicilian orange blossom and Mediterranean maquis. On the palate it is rich and elegant, the sip is fresh and persistent. The aromatic richness and the acidic freshness give great pleasure in drinking.
Excellent pairing with Mediterranean cuisine, caponata, battered vegetables, fish soups and raw seafood.
Serve at 8-10 °C.

Mixed calcareous-siliceous soil at approx. over 200m. AMSL.
100% Grillo grapes from 20 (average) year old vines.
Strictly manual harvest with selection of the best grapes.
The harvest takes place from the third week of August to the second week of September. The grapes are briefly macerated and subsequently softly pressed. The must flower ferments for ten days at 16 °C. The wine then ages in steel for about two months in contact with its own yeasts.
After bottling, it rests a month in the cellar for ageing before being released.
